Kids Yoga Video Classes
Hello my darling dears.
Miss Britt here.
Every week I have the privilege of teaching yoga to over 100 preschool and kindergartners. I also teach adult yoga at Hot Yoga 1620 in Plymouth.
I love teaching yoga.
Now that the corona virus is here and we are all home, it put an immediate stop to everything i’ve been building and creating. I am happy to be home, healthy, and safe with my family. I want to stay home and keep others safe from becoming ill.
Yet, I wasn’t quite sure what I would do without all my tiny yogi friends. Their energy and love became a constant bright light in my life.
In the spirit of being flexible and creative I started trying to figure out how to teach kids yoga through video. How would I be able to accomplish what I wanted through teaching without my books, egg shakers, parachutes, music, bubbles, and whatever else I pull out of my magic bag? Most importantly, how could I do it without interacting with the kids? The interaction is the very best part.
As, Marie Forleo says, “everything is figureoutable.” Especially, something as important as keeping kids moving. The most helpful thing I could do during this time is to continue to provide my tiny friends with healthy activities, movement, and fun.
Please join me on the Kid’s Yoga Jamboree Facebook page, 10 am every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. If you can not watch the live feed, no worries, they all record and save to the page. I also continue to put all the videos onto the Kid’s Yoga Jamboree YouTube Page so that kid’s can access them at anytime they are in the mood to move!
The feedback I have gotten has been nothing short of amazing. The pictures and videos of kids moving and laughing = my cup runneth over..
